Curis Recruitment is proud to partner with a leading Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Service in the Northern Territory to recruit a passionate Women’s Health Coordinator to join their supportive team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Women’s Health Nurse or Midwife who is passionate about improving health outcomes for Aboriginal women and families in remote communities.

The base salary is commencing from $106,382 Plus Super + Salary Packaging.

Based in Katherine, you will travel regularly to remote communities across the region, supporting clinics and healthcare teams to deliver high-quality women’s health and maternal health programs.

The Role:
You will be responsible for coordinating and supporting Women’s Health Services across multiple remote clinics in the region.

The role includes:
  • Antenatal and postnatal midwifery care
  • Women’s health checks and cervical screening programs
  • Sexual health services and education
  • Supporting maternal and child health programs including 0–5-year-old services
  • Population health initiatives including breast screening and preventative health programs
  • Clinical education, mentoring and support for nursing and Aboriginal Health Practitioner staff
  • Supporting quality improvement and population health outcomes across the region
  • Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary and outreach health teams
To be eligible you must:
  • Be a Registered Nurse and/or Endorsed Midwife with current AHPRA registration
  • Hold a current unrestricted manual driver’s licence
  • Hold a current First Aid Certificate
  • Have experience in maternal health, women’s health, remote health or primary health care
  • Demonstrate strong communication, leadership and mentoring skills
  • Have experience working within multidisciplinary teams
  • Be passionate about culturally safe healthcare and Aboriginal community health outcomes
