Maintenance & Grounds Officer
The Maintenance & Grounds Officer is responsible for delivering the set actions as instruction by the Maintenance Coordinator. This role ensures that all maintenance and grounds actions are attended and completed in a timely manner.

Responsibilities
- Maintenance and Property
- Collaborate with the Maintenance Coordinator on property maintenance.
- Test and calibrate equipment as per the maintenance schedule.
- Maintain Torbay grounds per Environmental Services standards.
- Care for garden beds: spraying, pruning, watering, sweeping, and removing clippings.
- Maintain grassed areas: mowing, edging, weeding, and mulching.
- Service equipment per manufacturer’s instructions.
- Maintain positive interactions with residents and stakeholders.
Requirements
- Valid and current Police Certificate.
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role, ideally within an Aged Care Facility.
- Demonstrated experience in general repairs and maintenance.
- The ability to comply with the requirements of WHS and safe work practises and related procedures.
- Well-developed written and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work as part of a small team.
- Work cooperatively with the team and as directed by the Hotel Services Manager.
