Curis Recruitment is excited to be exclusively partnering with this fantastic Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Service in the Northern Territory to recruit for a Clinical Operations Manager to join their team.

The Opportunity
As the Clinical Operations Manager you will be in a regional operational management role working in regular collaboration with the Health Centre Managers to support them in their day-to-day operational activities and requirements.

Role Details
  • Position: Clinical Operations Manager
  • Type: Permanent, full-time
  • Location: Northern Territory
  • Salary: $137,209.87 per annum plus 12 % super and salary sacrifice available
  • Relocation: Relocation assistance available (up to $5,000, negotiable)
  • Sign-on Bonus: $3,000 Curis bonus offered to the successful candidate upon completion of your first three months

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee development of, and maintains, core primary health care skills within the clinical team relevant to remote primary health care.
  • Ensure each clinic team has appropriate staffing models with a balanced mix of knowledge, skills, experience, and gender necessary for culturally safe operations.
  • Provide quality supervision, guidance, training, and support for all staff in their everyday work, ensuring a balance between clinical management, health promotion and preventative actions.
  • In consultation with the Executive Manager, Clinical Operations, oversee, and participate in, performance management and professional development programs as required.

Who We’re Looking For
  • Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency as a General Nurse or as an Aboriginal Health Practitioner.
  • A preferred qualification or post graduate qualification in Public Health / Primary Health Care/Leadership and Management.
  • Current unrestricted manual Driver's License
  • Current First Aid Certificate
  • Proven broad comprehensive primary health care experience with advanced clinical skills and competencies needed to work effectively in remote areas.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide team leadership and management skill relating to the human, financial and physical resources of a remote Primary Health Care Centre.
