At Uniting, we’re looking for a Quality Coordinator to join our team at Edinglassie Lodge in Penrith. In this role, you’ll work closely with leaders and frontline teams to strengthen quality systems, support compliance, and drive continuous improvement across the home.
About the role
In this role, you’ll support the delivery of the home’s quality and compliance program, including:
- Contribute to the self-assessment process for Accreditation Standards to support preparedness for Aged Care Quality & Safety Commission (ACQ&SC) audits
- Assist the Service Manager and Deputy Service Manager (DSM) with required data for monthly reports
- Promote quality improvement processes and encourage staff feedback and ideas for initiatives.
- Partnering with the Service Manager to monitor and progress CQI action plans
- Initiate coaching via toolbox talks, policy/procedure sessions, or recommend training modules (e.g., Ulearn) to the Service Manager.
- Encouraging a culture of continuous improvement and shared accountability
About you
You’re a detail-oriented and collaborative professional who enjoys working with data, supporting teams, and improving service quality
Must have
- Relevant qualification such as Certificate IV in Individual Support or a related discipline (e.g. Quality, WHS), or equivalent experience
- Experience in a Quality Coordinator or similar role, ideally within aged care or a regulated environment
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to coach and influence others
- A structured, thorough and disciplined approach to your work
Desirable
- Knowledge of Aged Care Quality Standards and accreditation processes
- Experience working with data, reporting, and quality indicators
- Experience with WHS systems or AN-ACC / aged care funding models
- Qualifications in auditing or quality systems
