Leisure & Lifestyle Assistant
The Leisure and Lifestyle Assistant helps to promote and assist residents in participating in meaningful activities whilst maintaining friendly and supportive professional relationships. Responsibilities:
- Support the Lifestyle Coordinator in planning, organising, and implementing lifestyle programs that enhance the quality of life and the well-being of residents.
- Collaborate with residents and stakeholders to implement a diverse range of lifestyle programs tailored to residents' interests, abilities, and preferences.
- Create and review Lifestyle Assessments to ensure needs-based programming is occurring, and monitor attendance.
Requirements:
- Valid and current Police Certificate.
- An understanding of the Australian Quality Standards in Aged Care.
- An understanding of infection control, and the ability to comply with the requirements of WHS and safe work practises and related procedures.
- Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care) or similar Certificate III or higher qualification.
