Benefits of this role:
- Permanent full-time or 6-12 month fixed-term contract
- Base salary of $100,000 + 12% super
- Salary packaging to boost your take-home pay
- 5 weeks annual leave + 12 weeks paid parental leave
- Monday to Friday role – no shift work
Some of the key areas of your role include:
- Deliver individual, family, and group counselling.
- Conduct psychosocial assessments and developing support plans.
- Support clients experiencing trauma, grief, loss, mental health, and wellbeing challenges.
- Provide outreach, telephone, and community-based support services.
- Worke collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Facilitate referrals and connecting clients with additional supports.

To be eligible you must:
- Have Australian working rights.
- Diploma or higher qualification in Counselling, Mental Health, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
- Experience delivering culturally safe, trauma-informed counselling and support services.
- Knowledge of social and emotional wellbeing (SEWB), mental health, and alcohol and other drug (AOD) issues.
- An understanding of the unique challenges and wellbeing needs of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
- NT Working with Children Clearance (Ochre Card).
- Current National Police Check (within last 3 months).
- Current driver's licence.
