As a Housekeeping Services Assistant, you will play an important role in creating a clean, comfortable and welcoming environment for our residents. Through your work, you will build genuine connections and make a positive difference in the lives of the people you support.
Key Responsibilities
Your duties may include:
- Cleaning residents' rooms and common areas throughout the facility
- Assisting with food preparation and the serving of meals and drinks
- Preparing and maintaining resident dining areas
- Providing laundry services
- Supporting a safe, hygienic, and welcoming environment for residents
Opportunities Available
We are currently seeking applications for our residential aged care homes in:
- Marion
- Bellevue Heights
- Aberfoyle Park
We are also seeking team members interested in joining our Relief Pool, offering the flexibility to pick up shifts across multiple Resthaven residential sites.
Essential Criteria
- Ability to follow safe work practices and safe food-handling procedures
- Commitment to providing high quality service in an aged care environment
- Reliable, positive, and team-focused approach
Desirable Criteria
- Experience in providing housekeeping or cleaning services in a residential care facility
- Experience in food preparation and food handling
- Experience in providing laundry services in a residential care facility
