As our organisation continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced and proactive HR Manager to join our team in Port Macquarie.
About the Role
Reporting to the Executive Team, you will oversee all aspects of Human Resources across the organisation, ensuring we continue to attract, develop and retain high-quality employees while fostering a positive, compliant and high-performing workplace culture.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys both strategic workforce planning and day-to-day people management.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead recruitment and workforce planning activities across disability, allied health and corporate teams.
- Manage employee onboarding, induction and retention programs.
- Provide advice and support to managers on employee relations, performance management and workplace issues.
- Develop and maintain HR policies, procedures and best practices.
- Ensure compliance with Fair Work legislation, SCHADS Award requirements and employment regulations.
- Coordinate training, leadership development and workforce capability initiatives.
- Support organisational growth, change management and continuous improvement projects.
- Monitor HR metrics and provide workforce insights to support business decisions.
- Promote employee engagement, wellbeing and a positive workplace culture.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience in a Human Resources Manager, HR Advisor or Senior HR Generalist role.
- Strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation and industrial relations.
- Experience managing recruitment, employee relations and performance management processes.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
- The ability to build positive relationships across all levels of the organisation.
- Experience within disability, community services, healthcare or NDIS environments will be highly regarded.
