Personal Care Worker

This is a casual position with opportunities to transition to permanent. 

As a Personal Care Worker (PCW) you will:

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a high standard of customer service at all times, ensuring a professional manner when interacting with residents, their representatives, and team members.
  • Provide residents with quality personal care including support with personal hygiene, mobility, dining, communication and leisure and lifestyle activities.
  • Prioritise workload in consultation with RN/EN and work independently or as a team.
  • Accurately observe, document, and report changes in residents' physical and behavioural conditions.

Requirements: 

  • Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care) or similar Certificate III or higher qualification.
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
  • Valid and current Police Certificate.
  • Experience in person-centered support and a willingness to undertake ongoing training.
  • Demonstrated up-to-date knowledge and skills in contemporary aged care services.
  • An understanding of infection control, WHS and safe work practices.
