These contracts are ideal for nurses with regional or remote Emergency Department Triage and/or Primary Health experience who are ready to take the next step into Remote Area Nursing. Based in the stunning Katherine region of the Northern Territory, this is an opportunity to experience living and working where outback meets the tropics. The area is known for dramatic landscapes, rich Aboriginal culture and a relaxed welcoming community. - AHPRA registration with no restrictions
- A minimum of 2–3 years RN clinical experience in primary health care, acute/urgent care or emergency triage ideally within rural or remote communities with on-call experience.
- Triage and ALS competencies required
- REC and MEC desirable but not essential
- Manual Driver's license required
- Must have full Australian working rights (Australian Citizenship, Permanent Residency, a valid Working Visa, or New Zealand Citizenship).
