As the Health Centre Manager within this Aboriginal Health Service, you will work with and manage a team of healthcare professionals. This role is the perfect opportunity for an experienced Health Centre Manager to contribute to something bigger. The Manager will ensure an integrated approach to the delivery of comprehensive Primary Health Care.
Due to the remote nature of the communities, you are often relied upon for advanced clinical decision-making and the ability to manage a wide variety of presentations, making it an incredibly rewarding role if you are a nurse seeking meaningful work, clinical variety and the opportunity to genuinely impact community health outcomes.
You will be working for an Aboriginal Health Service who are committed to securing quality health care services across the East Arnhem and enabling Yolŋu powered community health and wellbeing. They provide culturally appropriate, comprehensive primary health care to over 6,000 remote Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander residents across 3 East Arnhem wards.

Essential Criteria
- AHPRA registration with no restrictions
- REC, MEC, ALS, NT ISTAT certificate or willingness to obtain
- Current Manual Driver's License
- At least (5) years of post-graduate experience with advanced clinical skills and competencies applicable to remote settings (including the ability to triage, work independently, and participate in afterhours emergency calls and first response)
- At least 12 months recent experience managing a team
- Willing to travel in small charter planes, and the ability to drive a 4WD
- Must have full Australian working rights (i.e., Australian Citizenship, Permanent Residency, a valid Working Visa, or New Zealand Citizenship)
