Curis Recruitment is proud to partner with a highly respected Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Service in the Northern Territory to recruit Remote Area Nurses for permanent FIFO positions across remote communities in East Arnhem Land.

As a Remote Area Nurse, you will deliver comprehensive, culturally safe primary health care to Aboriginal communities across East Arnhem Land. Working alongside Aboriginal Health Practitioners, visiting specialists and a multidisciplinary team, you will provide holistic, evidence-based care while building strong relationships with community members.
Your role will encompass all aspects of remote primary health care, including chronic disease management, acute presentations, emergency response, health assessments, health promotion, immunisations, preventative health programs, care planning and patient education. You will also play an important role in community engagement and advocacy, supporting individuals and families to achieve better long-term health outcomes.
Remote nursing offers an exceptional level of clinical autonomy and variety. You will utilise your advanced assessment and decision-making skills to manage a broad range of presentations, often practising independently while participating in after-hours emergency response and first-on-call duties.

- Permanent full-time position
- Base salary of up to $137,674 per annum plus 12% superannuation
- Enjoy a comprehensive housing and utility package for your comfort
- Up to $10,400 relocation and repatriation support
- Salary packaging of up to $15,900 per annum
- Meals and Entertainment of up to $2,650 per annum
- 6 weeks annual leave
- Travel within Australia provided

Essential Criteria
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse with no restrictions
- Remote Emergency Care (REC), Maternity Emergency Care (MEC), Advanced Life Support (ALS), NT i-STAT certification, or willingness to obtain
- Minimum 3 years' post-graduate nursing experience with advanced clinical skills applicable to remote practice
- Demonstrated ability to triage, work autonomously and respond confidently to emergency presentations
- Current manual driver's licence
- Must have full Australian working rights (i.e., Australian Citizenship, Permanent Residency, a valid Working Visa, or New Zealand Citizenship)
