Your work will directly support the employees who deliver essential health and community programs across the region, making this a rewarding opportunity for an HR professional who wants their work to have a genuine purpose.

About your Role:
Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, you will provide practical HR support across the full employee lifecycle while working closely with managers and employees throughout the organisation.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Managing end-to-end recruitment and selection processes
  • Preparing contracts, letters of offer and employment documentation
  • Coordinating onboarding and supporting a positive new-starter experience
  • Providing advice regarding leave, entitlements, policies and Award interpretation
  • Supporting employee relations and performance management matters
  • Maintaining accurate HRIS records, compliance registers and employee files
  • Preparing workforce reports and supporting payroll processes
  • Contributing to workforce planning, employee engagement and HR projects
  • Reviewing and improving HR policies, procedures and systems
You will be a reliable HR professional who enjoys working with people, solving problems and ensuring processes run smoothly.

To be successful, you will bring:
  • A qualification in human resources, business administration or a related discipline, or equivalent experience
  • At least two years’ experience in a generalist HR position
  • Experience across recruitment, onboarding, HR administration and employee records
  • Knowledge of the Fair Work Act, National Employment Standards and relevant Awards
  • Experience using an HRIS such as ELMO
  • A commitment to culturally safe practice and community-controlled healthcare
