Curis Recruitment is proud to partner with a respected Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Service in regional New South Wales to recruit a passionate Drug & Alcohol Clinician.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive multidisciplinary team delivering culturally safe, evidence-based care to Aboriginal communities. You'll work alongside experienced clinicians to support individuals experiencing alcohol and other drug dependency through assessment, treatment, care coordination and health education in a rewarding community-based role.

The Position
  • Permanent full-time or part-time opportunity (up to 35 hours per week)
  • Multiple locations available across the New England region of NSW.
  • Negotiable salary based on qualifications and experience
  • Work within a collaborative multidisciplinary team
  • Ongoing professional development and supportive leadership
As the Drug & Alcohol Clinician, you'll provide comprehensive clinical assessments, withdrawal management, pharmacotherapy support, case management and harm minimisation strategies for clients experiencing alcohol and other drug dependency. Working collaboratively with GPs, Addiction Specialists and Social & Emotional Wellbeing teams, you'll deliver holistic, person-centred care while supporting improved health outcomes within Aboriginal communities.

To be eligible you will have:
  • Qualifications in Nursing, Social Work, Counselling or another relevant discipline
  • Current AHPRA registration (where applicable)
  • Experience in Drug & Alcohol, Mental Health, Primary Health Care or Community Health
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Current Driver's Licence
  • National Police Check and Working with Children Check
  • A commitment to delivering culturally safe, person-centred care
