We are currently seeking experienced Casual Support Workers to support clients with their community access in Deception Bay and Redcliffe area.
About Your New Role
As a vital member of our Open Minds Team, you'll be assisting our clients with complex needs in the Deception Bay region and surroundings. Our Support Workers drive our frontline services, delivering exceptional care and innovative strategies to help clients reach their full potential. Each day will be unique, whether you're assisting with daily tasks, supporting mental health challenges, or simply being a trusted companion.
About You
- Excels in complex support environments and has demonstrated experience working with Non-Verbal ASD and challenging behaviours
- Maintains effective communication and strong relationships with key stakeholders
- Experience working with complex support needs, implementing Positive Behavioural Support Plans, incident reports and case notes.
- Can prioritise workloads and respond to emergent situations with ease
- Can work across various shifts, including mornings and afternoons.

Requirements
- A current Open Driver's Licence
- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (Yellow card)
- QLD Blue Card (Working with Children check)
- 1 Year experience with disabilities, challenging behaviours and mental health support services
