This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Primary Health Care or Emergency Nurse who is ready to take the next step into remote nursing, with experienced support around you as you develop your skills.

If you've been working in primary health care or emergency nursing and are ready for a new challenge, this role offers an ideal pathway into Remote Area Nursing with experienced support around you.
You don't need previous RAN experience — you'll bring strong clinical judgement, adaptability and a willingness to develop your remote nursing skills.
You'll enjoy:
Your backyard is pretty spectacular, with ocean, bush and tropical landscapes all around you. In your time off, you can walk the beach, go fishing, camp, explore, spend time outdoors and enjoy the slower pace of community life.
You'll have the essentials close by, including two grocery stores, a post office, library, school and community sporting facilities.
While you're remote, you're not cut off. A sealed airport is close by, with commercial and charter flights connecting you with the wider region. You can fly to Darwin to stay connected with family and friends.

- Permanent full-time position
- FIFO arrangement may be negotiated
- Base salary of $120,000 + Superannuation
- Additional on-call, remote locality, professional development allowances
- Free fully furnished accommodation
- Relocation assistance up to $5,000
- 6 weeks annual leave + 17.5% leave loading
- $5,000 retention bonus after 12 months

- Participating in a 2–3 times per week on-call roster

Essential Criteria
- Current AHPRA registration with no restrictions
- Minimum 3 years' post-graduate nursing experience
- Experience in primary healthcare, rural or emergency nursing
- Strong assessment and clinical decision-making skills
- A willingness to develop your remote nursing capabilities
- Commitment to culturally safe and respectful healthcare
- Current unrestricted manual driver's licence
- Must have full Australian working rights
