Curis Recruitment is partnering with a highly regarded Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation in Western Australia to recruit an experienced Maternal & Child Health Nurse for a permanent FIFO position.
This is an incredible opportunity to work within a supportive multidisciplinary team, experience remote Australia and enjoy approximately 17 weeks paid leave every year.

You will be joining an established Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation (ACCHO) that has been delivering holistic and culturally secure healthcare to remote communities for more than 30 years.
The service provides comprehensive primary healthcare and emergency services to surrounding communities and works closely with Aboriginal families to improve long-term health outcomes.

As the Maternal & Child Health Nurse, you will work autonomously while being supported by a close-knit team including GPs, Registered Nurses, Paramedics, Aboriginal Health Workers, and Social & Emotional Wellbeing teams.

- Maternal, child and family health
- Primary healthcare
- Health promotion and preventative care
- Chronic disease management
- Immunisations
- Acute presentations and emergency care
- Community-based healthcare
- Building strong relationships with families and the wider community
You will be joining an established Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation (ACCHO) that has been delivering holistic and culturally secure healthcare to remote communities for more than 30 years.
The service provides comprehensive primary healthcare and emergency services to surrounding communities and works closely with Aboriginal families to improve long-term health outcomes.
What you'll need
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse and/or Midwife
- A Post-grad in Child Health
- Maternal, child and family health experience
- Previous primary health, community health or autonomous nursing experience
- Current Advanced Life Support (ALS) or equivalent
- Current immunisation qualification
- WA Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain
- National Police Clearance
- Full Australian working rights
- Ability to work confidently and autonomously in a remote setting
- Strong commitment to providing culturally safe healthcare
