About the role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Exercise Physiologist to join Royal Rehab Lifeworks and provide high-quality, evidence-based exercise physiology services across our varied and diverse rehabilitation and musculoskeletal rehabilitation programs.
The Senior Exercise Physiologist will provide clinical leadership, complex assessment and exercise prescription and contribute to multidisciplinary rehabilitation planning and support the development of junior clinicians and students. The role will also contribute to the service improvement, clinical education and evidence-based practice across Lifeworks.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality Exercise Physiology assessment and intervention
- Manage complex rehabilitation caseloads, including neurological and disability related conditions.
- Provide clinical guidance, supervision and mentoring to EP staff.
- Work collaboratively within multidisciplinary rehabilitation teams.
- Contribute to quality improvement, clinical education and service development
- Support best practice, person centred rehabilitation outcomes.
- Degree-qualified Exercise Physiologist.
- Current ESSA Accredited Exercise Physiologist (AEP) status.
- Demonstrated clinical experience in rehabilitation.
- Strong communication, clinical reasoning and multidisciplinary skills.
- Experience providing supervision/mentoring or clinical leadership.
- Experience in neurological rehabilitation, private hospital or disability services.
- Postgraduate qualifications or demonstrated advanced clinical expertise.
